Daisy Cottage

Daisy Cottage is in Strensall. It's a single-storey cottage, so everything's on one level. Sleeps four in two bedrooms, and there's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main thing is it's new and well-built. Everything works properly. It has underfloor heating, electric windows, and a sound system you can connect to. There's a wood burner. Outside, there's a deck with a hot tub that fits six.

Strensall's a village with a few pubs, shops, and a fish and chip shop. York Golf Club is right here. Strensall Common is on the doorstep, which is a big conservation area run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Good for walks and birdwatching.

York is about seven miles away. You can get the bus from the village. The usual things are there: the Minster, Jorvik, the Railway Museum. It's about a 20-minute drive depending on traffic.

Other places within half an hour: Castle Howard and Beningbrough Hall are both National Trust properties. The market town of Easingwold is close. The edge of the North York Moors is about a 30-minute drive, where you can pick up the steam train from Pickering.

For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The garden is yours. Sorry, no pets.

If you're booking for a bigger group, there are three other similar cottages next door you can book together.
