Serendipity

Serendipity is a static home on Goosewood Holiday Park, near York. It sleeps six, but in two bedrooms: one double and one twin. There's one bathroom with a shower.

It's on a holiday park, so you're in amongst other caravans. It's detached and you get your own decking area with a hot tub. The view from there is over fields. Inside, it's open plan. The decoration is a bit quirky, but it's clean and comfortable. It's got a 4 Star rating.

Being on the park means you can use the indoor pool, which is free for guests and open from March to December. There's a fishing lake on site and a bar and bistro too.

York is about nine miles away. That's about a twenty-minute drive. You've got all the main things there: the Minster, the Railway Museum, the Shambles. If you head the other way, you're about forty minutes from the coast at Scarborough or Filey. Harrogate is about half an hour away.

Facilities wise: it's all on one level, which is good for accessibility. There's parking right by it. WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.

Useful links for planning: City of York Council for tourist information, and North York Moors National Park if you're heading that way.
