Roseberry View is a bungalow, detached, so no one's attached to you. It's in Stillington, which is outside Easingwold in North Yorkshire.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms, so you're not queueing. It's a Three Star place, so think of it as comfortable and roomy rather than luxurious.
The garden is big and fenced in. It's good if you've got kids or a dog. The kitchen table is big enough for everyone to sit around.
In the village, there's a shop, two pubs, and a fish and chip shop. It's about three quarters of a mile to walk in. Easingwold is three and a half miles away, it's a nice market town with cafes and shops.
You're on the edge of the Howardian Hills, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Good for walks. There's a golf course near Easingwold too.
York is about half an hour's drive. It's got everything you'd expect. Castle Howard and Beningbrough Hall are both within about a 30 minute drive. Rievaulx Abbey is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes.
For a day out with kids, Flamingo Land is about 25 minutes away. The North York Moors and the coast at Scarborough or Whitby are more like an hour's drive.
Facilities wise: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, TV, parking. We can provide a highchair. Bedding and towels are included. We accept one dog.
