This is Roseberry View. It's a detached bungalow near Easingwold, so it's all on one level which is handy. The garden is big and fenced, it's good for kids or if you've brought a dog.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. The kitchen has a big table for everyone to sit round. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. It's not a show home, it's a place to stay.
You're in between the village of Stillington and Easingwold town. Stillington is about three quarters of a mile away. It's got a shop, a couple of pubs, and a chippy. Easingwold is three and a half miles the other way. It's a nice market town with proper butchers and bakeries, and cafes around the square.
York is about eleven miles south. You can drive in or get the park and ride from Poppleton. It's an easy day out.
For walks, you're right on the edge of the Howardian Hills. It's good country for it. There's also a golf course near Easingwold. If you want a big day trip, the North York Moors are about forty minutes' drive. Castle Howard is close, maybe a twenty minute drive. The coast at Scarborough or Whitby is just under an hour.
Facilities: it's got what you'd expect. Wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for a couple of cars on the drive. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
