Foston Grange Cottage
Foston Grange Cottage is on our working farm, about half a mile down a farm track from the main road. It's next to our farmhouse. You get the views over the fields towards the Howardian Hills and the Wolds.
It's a Georgian cottage, so the rooms feel spacious. It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The floors are original wood in the living and dining room.
You're on the edge of the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can start walks right from the door. Castle Howard is about three and a half miles away. They have events, a restaurant, and a farm shop.
York is 12 miles. You can get there in about half an hour. It's got everything, the Minster, the Railway Museum, the Jorvik Centre. Plenty of shops and pubs.
For other days out, the North York Moors aren't far. You can get to Pickering, or the coast at Scarborough or Whitby, in under an hour. There's also Nunnington Hall and Beningbrough Hall nearby.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. There's a garden with a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry. The nearest shop is about seven miles, the nearest pub is three miles.
