Snowdrop Cottage is in Welburn. It's a small village about fifteen minutes drive from York. The cottage itself is one of a row on the main street.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's been done up nicely inside. One bedroom has a four-poster bed. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep and turn a corner.
The garden is enclosed. It has a hot tub on a raised terrace and a firepit. There's a pub directly across the road that does food. A café and deli is opposite that for breakfast or supplies.
Castle Howard is very close, maybe five minutes by car. It has events all year. The Yorkshire Arboretum is right next to it for a walk. Malton is about ten minutes away. It's known for food shops and has a market.
You're on the edge of the Howardian Hills, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Good for walks and cycling. The North York Moors National Park isn't far. Dalby Forest is about a twenty minute drive for walking or mountain biking.
For facilities: there's a wood burner, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi and Sky TV. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
