No 2 Flowery Bank is on the edge of Broughton, on the Helmsley Road. It's one of a short terrace. It's an old stone cottage, around 250 years old.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The location is good, you're up on the Howardian Hills looking over the Vale of Pickering.
There's a small patio garden out the back with a barbecue. Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are provided. We can put a cot in if you need one. No pets, sorry.
The local shop and pub are about a mile away in Broughton. Malton is a bit closer, maybe ten minutes in the car. It's a proper market town with good butchers and a supermarket.
For days out, you're well placed. Castle Howard is about six miles. York is roughly 19 miles, so under half an hour. Scarborough is about 22 miles the other way. The North York Moors are right on your doorstep for walking. Helmsley is a nice market town about a 20 minute drive.
