Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is in Settrington, on the edge of the local estate. It's a detached place. The house looks out over its own garden and you can see the estate's walled garden from the dining room.
The house sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom or shower room. One of the double bedrooms is on the ground floor and the doorways are wide, which is handy. Upstairs, the three other bedrooms are all a bit different from each other. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
There's a wood burner in the living room. We supply logs for it. The kitchen is big and has what you'd need, including a dishwasher. There's a utility room with the washing machine.
You're about two miles from the nearest pub that does food, and three miles from a shop. Malton is four miles away. It's a proper market town with shops and a few cafes.
For a day out, you're well placed. The coast at Scarborough or Filey is about half an hour's drive. York is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Helmsley and the North York Moors are within easy reach too.
We allow one well-behaved dog. There's parking on the drive. The garden is enclosed. Bedding and towels are included, and we have a cot and highchair if you need them.
