Wold View Cottage is in Thorpe Bassett. It's a small village a few miles south of Malton.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's in good order and well-equipped. It's clean and comfortable.
The layout is open plan downstairs. There's a patio garden out the back that's fully enclosed, which is handy if you've got kids or a dog. We can't take pets, sorry. There's parking for one car.
You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've also got a highchair if you need one.
The local pub is about a mile away in Rillington. They do food. Rillington also has a shop, a post office, and a fish and chip shop.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. The views from the front are over the fields towards those low hills. The walking and cycling round here is very good and quiet. There's a bike store at the cottage.
Malton is a market town about six miles away. Pickering is a bit further, maybe nine miles. That's where you get the steam train onto the North York Moors. Castle Howard is about a twenty minute drive. The coast at Filey or Scarborough is roughly half an hour. York is about forty minutes by car.
