Stable Cottage
Stable Cottage is on our working farm in Kennythorpe. It's all on one level, which is good if stairs are an issue.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The 4 Star rating means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You're in the Yorkshire Wolds. It's quiet. The views from the patio are over our fields. There's a pub in Burythorpe, about a mile away, that does food.
It's a good spot for walking or cycling straight from the door. We have bicycle storage. If you're bringing horses, we can arrange stabling. In the spring, if we're lambing, you can usually come and see the lambs.
For days out, Malton's about 20 minutes away. It's a market town with food shops. York is roughly half an hour's drive. National Trust Yorkshire has good information for places like Castle Howard, which is nearby.
The facilities are what you'd expect: parking, wifi, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a barbecue for the patio. Sorry, no pets.
