The Old Bike Store
The Old Bike Store is a small house in York. It's detached. It used to be a shop for bikes.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. One bedroom is downstairs and the bathroom is next to it. The other is upstairs. Both have super king size beds that can be split into singles if you prefer. That's why it works for two couples.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The living area is open plan with the kitchen. Patio doors open out to a private courtyard. It's enclosed.
The walk into the centre of York takes about 10 minutes. You go down Gillygate, which has cafes and shops. York Minster is a bit further on. You don't really need the car.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car on site. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
It's good for people who want to be near the city centre without being right in the middle of it. The location is fairly quiet.
For things to do in York, most of it is walking distance. The Jorvik Viking Centre, the National Railway Museum, and the Shambles are all close. For trips further out, Castle Howard is about a 30 minute drive. The North York Moors are within an hour.
