Grange Garth Cottage
Grange Garth Cottage is in Naburn. It's a few miles south of York, a proper village next to the river.
It's a detached stable conversion, done up in 2022. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are king size and both have their own shower room. That's handy if there are two couples.
Downstairs is all open plan. Kitchen, dining, living area. Two sets of patio doors open onto a private patio. It gets the sun most of the day. Underfloor heating throughout, so it's warm.
The stairs are quite steep. It's part of the conversion.
You can walk to the local pub from the cottage. It does food. A bit further along is York Marina, they have a cafe with a terrace by the water. There's a cycle path that goes from the village right into York city centre.
York is about five miles away. You can drive or cycle in. It's got everything: the Minster, the Shambles, the Railway Museum, all of it. The York Minster website is good for tickets. For a broader look, North York Moors National Park isn't far if you fancy a drive out.
Facilities: everything's included. WiFi, bedding, towels, parking. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a BBQ. You can bring one dog.
