Lilac Studio
Lilac Studio is a bungalow in Wheldrake. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. The village is quiet. York is about eight miles east, and you can get a bus from the village if you don't want to drive.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, all on the ground floor. It's a 3 Star place. Everything works, it's clean. The garden is a patio area, it's enclosed.
There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about a ten minute walk away. The Italian café is good for coffee. The local pub does food.
For things to do, York is the main draw. The minster, the railway museum, the Jorvik Centre. You can walk the walls or go on a boat on the Ouse. Closer to home, Wheldrake Ings is a nature reserve right on the doorstep, good for a walk. The Yorkshire Air Museum and Burnby Hall Gardens are a short drive. The coast and the Yorkshire Wolds are about half an hour by car.
What's here: a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for one car right outside. It's all on one level. No pets, sorry.
