Estate Cottage
This is Estate Cottage in Wheldrake. It's a semi-detached place, sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom.
It's a 3 Star cottage. Everything works and it's clean. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable. You get a patio area out the back.
The village has a shop and a pub, both about a six or seven minute walk away. The pub does food. There's an Italian café a bit further on, and a golf course and some fishing lakes within a couple of miles.
York is about eight miles down the road. You can drive in or get the bus. It's got everything: the Minster, the Railway Museum, the Jorvik Centre. Lots of pubs and restaurants. The park and ride at the designer outlet is the easiest way to get into the centre if you're driving.
Right on the doorstep is Wheldrake Ings, which is a big nature reserve. Good for walks and birdwatching. The Yorkshire Air Museum and the Museum of Farming are nearby if that's your sort of thing.
For a day trip, you can get to the North York Moors, the Yorkshire Wolds, or the coast in under an hour.
What's here: the electricity is included, there's a TV and WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are provided. There's parking on site. No pets.
