The Bishops Court is in York, inside the city walls. It's a two-bedroom place that sleeps four. It's in a quiet courtyard which is handy, because you're about a five-minute walk from the Minster and the main shopping streets.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. There's one bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it.
Parking is on site, which is a big plus in York. You can just leave the car and walk everywhere.
There's a shop and a pub a few hundred yards away. For all the major sights, you won't need to drive. The Jorvik Centre, the Railway Museum, the Shambles, they're all a short walk.
If you do drive, the racecourse and the designer outlet are about ten minutes away. The North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales are both within about a forty-five minute drive for a day out.
No pets, I'm afraid.
