The Little House
The Little House is in York, on Bishy Road. It's the small terrace house next to mine. You have the whole place to yourselves.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's small, which is why they call it that. It used to be the doctor's surgery for the main house.
The stairs are quite steep. It's got everything you need though: a kitchen, a shower, a TV. There's WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
Bishy Road is right outside. There are cafes, a couple of restaurants, a few shops and a pub about 150 yards away. You won't need the car much.
You can walk into the city centre in about 15 minutes. Go through Rowntree Park by the river, then up to the medieval walls. From there, it's all the shops, the Minster, Betty's, everything.
If you do drive, Castle Howard is about half an hour away. The Yorkshire Dales or the North York Moors are also within a 30 minute drive for a day out.
