This is 8A Monkbar Mews. It's an apartment right up against the city wall in York, on the first floor.
It's a studio, so sleeps two. One bathroom. The 5 Star rating mostly means everything's in good order and recently done up. It's open plan, so the kitchen, living area, and bed are all in one room. It's compact but it works. You get a proper super king bed, but it's a zip and link, so you can split it into twins.
The windows are high up. You can see the wall from them. It's a really solid, brick building.
The location is the main thing. You walk out the door and Monk Bar is right there. You're about a minute from the Minster and already on the wall if you want to walk it. Everything in the centre is a short walk.
There’s on site parking for one car. That's a big plus for York.
It has WiFi and a smart TV. There's a dishwasher and a shower. Bedding and towels are included.
For things to do, you're right in it. The Minster is obvious. The National Railway Museum is free and about 15 minutes walk. The Jorvik Centre and Castle Museum are just round the corner.
