This place is on Priory Street in York. It's an apartment, split over two floors, inside the city walls. You're about a five minute walk from the centre.
It sleeps five in two bedrooms. They're both large. One has a double bed and an extra single in it. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. One is a wet room on the ground floor. The stairs inside are modern, not steep.
The living area is all open plan. It's been done up to a high standard, which is what the 5 Star rating means. There's a wood burning stove, a proper kitchen with a dishwasher, and the floors are solid wood. It feels spacious.
Outside there's a private courtyard. It gets the sun in the morning. Enough room for a couple of chairs and a coffee.
You're right there for everything. Micklegate, with its pubs and restaurants, is a minute away. You can walk to the Minster, the Jorvik Centre, the Railway Museum. The city wall access is just around the corner. For a break, the Museum Gardens or a walk along the river are close.
It has a washing machine, WiFi, and parking is on street with a permit we provide. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning days out, these sites are useful: York City Walls and National Trust Yorkshire. For the wider area, the North York Moors are about a 30 minute drive.
