Compton Lodge is a first floor apartment in a house just outside York city centre. It's got two bedrooms, one bathroom, and sleeps four. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You go up a short flight of stairs to get in. It's open plan inside. The kitchen has everything you'll need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a Smart TV with Netflix, and the WiFi works fine.
You get one private parking space on the drive.
It's about a twenty minute walk into the city centre, or a short taxi ride. There's a local shop and a couple of pubs nearby. Homestead Park is just round the corner if you want some green space.
Being in York, you're right in the middle of it all. The Minster, the Shambles, the Railway Museum are all in walking distance. For trips further out, the North York Moors are about half an hour's drive. The coast at Scarborough or Whitby is a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes.
