8B Monkbar Mews is an apartment right next to the old city walls in York. It's one of nine in a brick building. You're on the ground floor.
It sleeps three people in one bedroom. You can have it set up as a double and a single bed, or just as two singles. There's one shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well looked after. The living space is open plan, with the kitchen at one end. It's compact but it works.
The main thing is the location. You step out the door and Monk Bar is right there. York Minster is about a two minute walk. You can be in the centre of town in five minutes.
Everything you'd want to see is close. The Jorvik Centre, the Castle Museum, the Shambles. The National Railway Museum is about a fifteen minute walk. You can walk a good stretch of the city walls from right outside. For a quieter moment, the Museum Gardens are nearby.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You get one parking space, which is a real plus given where it is.
