This is Falkland. It’s a mid-terrace house right in the centre of York, inside the city walls. It's on a quiet street, so you get the peace but you're only a couple of minutes walk from all the noise and shops.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed with its own shower room. The other has two single beds. There's a second bathroom downstairs with a shower cubicle. So, two bathrooms in total, which is handy.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well presented, not luxurious but comfy. The stairs are a bit steep, which is normal for a house like this. The living room has a table to eat at and a TV.
You really don't need a car here. Everything in the city centre is on your doorstep. The closest parking is at Clifford's Tower or the NCP on Rougier Street, which is a short walk away.
York Minster is about a ten minute walk. The Shambles, Jorvik, the Railway Museum, they're all easy to get to on foot. For a day out further afield, the North York Moors are about a half hour drive.
Included in the price is the electricity, the wifi, and all the bedding and towels. No pets allowed, sorry.
