2 Monkbar Mews is an apartment inside a building right next to the city walls in York. It's a duplex, so it's on two floors. You get parking.
It sleeps six people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of those bathrooms are en-suite. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been checked as high quality by the tourist board.
The living area is open plan, with the kitchen at one end. The windows look straight out at the old stone walls, which is a nice view. The stairs inside are pretty standard, not too steep.
You're about a minute's walk from Monkbar itself. York Minster is maybe a five minute walk from there. Everything in the centre is close. The Shambles, Jorvik, the Railway Museum, you can walk to all of it.
If you want a break from the crowds, the Museum Gardens are good. Or you can walk along the top of the walls, the access is nearby.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, towels and bedding are included, good wifi, and a TV. No pets allowed.
