This is Apartment 11. It's on the third floor of a building on Goodramgate, in central York. You look out over the street from the front and there's a view of the Minster from the back. There's a lift, which is handy.
It’s a modern penthouse flat. Two bedrooms, both with kingsize beds, and two bathrooms, so one’s an ensuite. It sleeps four. The rating's 4 Star, which basically means it's comfortable and well looked after. The main room is open-plan, with a kitchen at one end. The doors at the back open onto a small decked area.
You’re right in the middle of things here. It’s a two-minute walk to the Minster, maybe five to the Shambles. The river’s about the same. No garden of your own, but you can be in the Museum Gardens very quickly.
For getting further out, York station is a ten-minute walk. National Trust York has details on places like Beningbrough Hall, which is about a twenty-minute drive. The North York Moors are maybe thirty minutes by car, depending on traffic.
The flat has a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and bedding and towels are included. Parking isn’t provided, but the long-stay car park at Foss Islands is a seven-minute walk. No pets allowed.
