Fourth Milestone Granary
Fourth Milestone Granary is a bungalow on our land in Stockton on the Forest. It's detached. The main view is out over fields. We're just off the A166, so it's easy to get to York.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, and an en-suite bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Because it's all on the ground floor, it's straightforward to get around.
You've got a kitchen with French doors that open into a conservatory. That's where the living area is. There's also a small, separate snug room with books and games. The bedroom door opens onto your own private patio.
Outside, there's a garden area and a wood-fired hot tub. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's on-site parking.
The local pub is about a ten-minute walk. Strensall Common is nearby for a walk; it's good for birdwatching. York is about a twenty-minute drive away. For a bigger day out, the North York Moors National Park is within half an hour. Castle Howard is about twenty minutes by car. The coast, like Scarborough or Whitby, is roughly forty-five minutes to an hour.
