The Mews is in York, just outside the city centre. It's on a cobbled street behind a private courtyard, so it's quiet. Parking is right outside the house, which is handy.
It's a detached, two-bedroom house. It sleeps four, two in a king bed and two in a double. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Downstairs is an open plan space. There's a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table, and a sofa area. The French doors open straight onto your parking spot. It feels modern inside. Upstairs, both bedrooms have a TV. There's also a separate cloakroom and a small store room downstairs.
Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. A cot and highchair are available if you need them.
You can walk into the centre of York. It takes about 25 minutes, or it's a short drive or bus ride. The Visit York site has good info. The Minster, the Jorvik Centre, and the Shambles are the main things to see.
For a day out, the National Trust has a few places nearby. Castle Howard and the North York Moors are both about a half hour drive.
No pets, sorry.
