4 Monkbar Mews
4 Monkbar Mews is an apartment right up against the city walls in York. It's a duplex, so it's over two floors.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and the thing here is that they all have their own en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms are upstairs, one is on the ground floor, which is useful if stairs are a problem.
The living area is open plan, with the kitchen and a dining table. It's clean and modern. You get parking on site.
Location is the main thing. You walk out the door and you're at Monk Bar, which is one of the big gatehouses. York Minster is a couple of minutes' walk. The Jorvik Centre, the Castle Museum, and the Shambles are all right there. You can walk everywhere.
If you want to drive somewhere, it's easy to get out. The Yorkshire coast at Whitby or Filey is about an hour away. The North York Moors are to the north-east. You could be at Fountains Abbey in just under an hour.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, dishwasher, and all the bedding and towels are provided. No pets.
