Apartment 1
Apartment 1 is a one bedroom apartment in the centre of York. It sleeps four, with two people on a double bed and two on a sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom has a shower.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's modern and comfortable. It's clean and tidy, not overly fancy. You get a kitchen with the main things you'd need, a TV, and WiFi. There's a washing machine too. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot.
The location is the main thing. You're right in the middle of the city. You can walk to everything: the Minster, the Shambles, the railway museum, Clifford's Tower. The building is on a street, so there can be city noise, especially at weekends. The windows are double glazed.
You're a five minute walk from the main train station. There's no parking with the apartment, but you can use the station car park or one of the city park and rides, which is often easier. The iTravel York site has the details.
For a day out, the coast at Scarborough or Whitby is about an hour's drive. The North York Moors are a bit closer. In the city itself, the York Cold War Bunker is an interesting visit if you've done the main sights.
The apartment is one of four in the same building. No pets, sorry.
