Patricks Pool is a flat in a converted building in the centre of York. It's on the first, second, and third floors, so there are stairs to get up to it. The views are good, you can see the minster from the windows.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, each one has its own bathroom. That's handy if you're a group. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well finished and comfortable.
You're right in the middle of everything. You can walk to the minster, the Shambles, the railway museum, all of it. It's a city location, so it's not quiet, but you don't come to York for the quiet.
There's a kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a dining table that extends. WiFi and TV are included. All the bedding and towels are provided.
For days out, you can drive to the North York Moors or the coast. Whitby and Filey are about an hour away. The North York Moors National Park website has walking routes. The English Heritage site lists local properties too, like the Castle Howard.
No pets allowed, I'm afraid.
