Aura Retreat
Aura Retreat is my apartment just outside York city centre. It's on Layerthorpe. You can walk into the centre in about 15 minutes. It's new.
It's a one-bedroom place for four people. There's a kingsize bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main room is open plan, so the kitchen, dining area, and living space are all together. It's very light because of the big windows. The kitchen is grey and has everything you'd need, including a washer/dryer. The bathroom is tiled.
You get a private parking space, which is useful. There's a supermarket about two minutes' walk away on Foss Islands.
York centre is the main thing. You can walk to the Minster, the Shambles, and the castle. If you drive, you can be in the North York Moors in half an hour. The coast at Whitby or Scarborough is about 45 minutes.
The apartment has WiFi, a TV, bedding and towels. All the utilities are included.
