The Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite is an apartment on the ground floor in York. You've got your own front door and a fenced garden out the back. It sleeps four, in two king-sized bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's been done up to a good standard. The main living area is open plan, with sofas and a TV. The kitchen is through there. There's a glass orangery off the living room with a table to eat at. It's a bright spot.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the apartment into the centre of York. You're close to the station too. The city walls, the Minster, the castle, they're all right there. It's all walkable once you're in the centre.
For things just outside York, you're in a good spot. The North York Moors are about half an hour's drive north. National Trust Yorkshire has plenty of places like Beningbrough Hall nearby. Welcome to Yorkshire is a good site for ideas. The coast at Whitby or Scarborough is around 45 minutes.
