The Dairyman's Cottage is in Fulford, just outside York. It's on a quiet street. You can park on the road outside.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and has most things you'll need. The floors are original wood, so they can be a bit uneven and creaky in places. That's just how it is.
The kitchen has the usual stuff: oven, dishwasher, washing machine. The garden is enclosed. There's a small pond, so you'll need to keep an eye on young children. You're welcome to pick any fruit from the trees if you're here at the right time of year.
It's about a 30 minute walk into the centre of York, or a short drive. You're right by the University campus.
In York, you've got the Minster, the Railway Museum, Clifford's Tower, and the Jorvik Centre. The National Trust looks after some properties nearby, like Treasurer's House. For days out, the North York Moors are less than an hour's drive. The coast at Scarborough or Filey is about the same.
We provide bedding and towels. There's WiFi and a TV. No pets, I'm afraid.
