This is Hudson 5, an apartment in the new Hudson Quarter development in York. It's just inside the city walls and a two minute walk from York railway station. It's quiet here, away from the main bustle, but you can walk to everything.
It's a 4 Star apartment, so it's well presented. It sleeps four, but that's in one bedroom with a double bed, and a sofa bed in the living area. That works for a family with kids, or two couples who don't mind the sofa bed. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The apartment is all on one level, open plan. It has underfloor heating, a washing machine, and a smart TV. Bedding and towels are included.
There's no parking, which is common for a city centre place. The train station is so close it's easiest to come by train. If you drive, you'll need to use a pay and display car park, like the NCP on Tanner Row or the long stay at the station.
You can walk to the Minster and The Shambles in about ten or fifteen minutes. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants around. For planning days out, the City of York Council site has tourist information, and English Heritage has details on local properties like Clifford's Tower.
Within half an hour's drive you can get out to the North York Moors for walking, or to places like Castle Howard.
