Ebor Cottage
Ebor Cottage is in York, about a fifteen minute walk from the centre. It's a semi-detached cottage with two bedrooms and a bathroom. It sleeps four. You can see the racecourse across the Knavesmire from the front.
It's a 4 Star place. The facilities are good and it's comfortable. There's parking on site, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The train station is a bit of a walk, about twenty minutes. The city walls are closer. You can get into the centre on foot easily, past the racecourse and through the gates.
Everything you'd want to see in York is within walking distance. The Minster, the Jorvik Centre, the Railway Museum, Clifford's Tower. You can spend a day just walking the walls. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants. The one down the road is about 400 yards away.
If you want to drive out, Castle Howard is about half an hour away. Harrogate is similar. The North York Moors are about an hour's drive. Whitby and Scarborough are on the coast, also about an hour.
