Apartment 8
This is Apartment 8, in York. It's up on the second floor but there's a lift, so you don't have to carry bags up the stairs. The building has ten other flats in it.
The flat itself sleeps six. Two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The second bedroom has beds that can be made into a double or two singles, just let me know before you arrive. There's also a double sofa bed in the living room if you need it.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean. The living area is open plan with the kitchen. It has a dishwasher, TV, and the WiFi works. Bedding and towels are included.
Location is the main thing. You're right in the centre. You can walk to the Minster, the Shambles, the city walls. It takes about five minutes to get to the river.
Within half an hour you can drive out to the North York Moors, or Castle Howard. The Visit York website has good ideas. For a wider view, the North York Moors National Park site is useful.
Parking isn't included. There's a public car park a couple of minutes away. It's easier than trying to find a space on the street.
No pets allowed, I'm afraid.
