109 Nunnery

109 Nunnery is a cottage in York. It's a ten minute walk from the Minster.

It sleeps five people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The living room, kitchen, and dining area are all in one room on the ground floor. That's where the wood burner is. The kitchen has what you need. The dining table converts into a full-size pool table if you want it to.

There's a king bedroom and a single bedroom on the first floor. The bathroom is on that floor too. It has a bath, a separate shower cubicle, and underfloor heating.

The third bedroom is in the attic, up another flight of stairs. It has a double bed that can be made into two singles if you ask beforehand. Those attic stairs are steep.

Out the back is a private courtyard. It gets the sun in the evening.

It's on a street just off Bishopthorpe Road. People call it Bishy Road. There's a good butchers, a greengrocers, and a few cafes there. The closest pub is about five minutes away.

From the house, you can walk to the Minster, the Shambles, the Railway Museum, and Clifford's Tower. The Jorvik Centre is a fifteen minute walk. It's all very straightforward.

You can bring up to three dogs. There's an electric vehicle charger. It has WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.

If you want to plan trips, these sites are useful: York Minster, English Heritage (Clifford's Tower), and North York Moors National Park. The moors are about a 30 minute drive away.
