4 Reubens Court is an apartment on the top floor of a small modern block. It’s off Nunnery Lane, about a ten-minute walk from York station and maybe fifteen minutes to the Minster on foot.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It’s got a 5 Star rating, so everything’s in good order and it’s well looked after.
The main living space is open plan with a kitchen area, a sofa and a TV. There are Velux windows in the sloping ceiling which let in a lot of light and you can see rooftops. The bedroom’s got one of those windows too, right above the bed.
It’s got all the utilities included, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are provided.
You’re right by the city walls at Micklegate Bar. You can get straight onto them from there and walk a good stretch. The middle of York is all within a twenty-minute walk. The Railway Museum is about five minutes away, which is free and good for a couple of hours. The Minster and the Jorvik Centre are the other big draws.
There’s a local pub nearby and a golf course just outside the city if that’s your thing. If you’re coming by train it’s very handy.
