Wanderer

The Wanderer is in Sutton Staithe, right by the water. It's one of a row of six cottages a few steps from the mooring basin.

It sleeps four, but all in one bedroom. It's an upside-down house, so the living area is upstairs to make the most of the view over the marsh. There's a balcony up there and a sundeck downstairs.

It's a 4 Star place. It's comfortable and well equipped. The sofa bed is in the living area.

You can bring one dog. There's an enclosed garden so that's sorted.

The local pub and a restaurant are about 80 yards away. The village shop is the same distance. Stalham is a mile and a half off for a bigger supermarket.

You're right on the River Ant. You can fish from the bank in season, or hire a canoe or a day boat from next door. It's a working boatyard, so there's activity, which is nice if you like that sort of thing.

For a walk, the Weavers Way path goes through here. It's flat and easy going.

Sea Palling beach is about a four mile drive. For a quieter stretch of sand, try Waxham or Horsey which are a bit further along the coast.

Wroxham, the main town for the Broads, is nine miles away. Norwich is about a 40 minute drive if you want a cathedral, a castle, or proper shopping.

Things here include wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are provided. There's parking on site. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
