Hawthorne House

Hawthorne House is in Porth, on the edge of Newquay. It's a modern house, not an old cottage.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. One double bedroom is on the ground floor. The other two are upstairs. One has its own ensuite. Everything has a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and clean.

The kitchen and living area are open plan on the first floor. There's a balcony off it. You get the enclosed patio garden to yourselves. Parking is on site.

The centre of Newquay is about a ten minute drive. It's got all the usual shops and places to eat. The beaches are the main thing. Watergate Bay and Fistral are the big surfing beaches nearby. Porth's own beach is quieter.

For walking, you're close to the South West Coast Path. The National Trust has several coastal spots around here too, like Trerice and Carnewas.

Within half an hour you can get to the zoo in Newquay, the surf at Fistral, or the gardens at Trenance. Padstow is about 35 minutes if you drive.

Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, bedding and towels included. There's a cot if you need it. Sorry, no pets.
