82 Hillside is on the Trevella Park site, just outside Crantock. It's a modern holiday park lodge, so it's not an old cottage. It's spacious and quiet on the park.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bedroom has its own toilet and sink. There's one main bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well finished and comfortable.
The living area is open plan with a kitchen, a sofa, and a TV. The doors open out onto a good-sized deck. You can see a bit of the lake from there.
You're parked right next to the lodge. The site itself has a pool, a shop, and a pub. The pub does meals.
The main reason you'd stay here is the location. You're a five minute walk from Crantock Beach, which is a big, beautiful sandy beach. The South West Coast Path runs right past the edge of the park, so you can walk from your door. You can walk to Crantock village, or along the coast towards Holywell Bay.
Newquay is about a ten minute drive. That's where you'll find the main shops, more restaurants, and Fistral Beach. The bus from the park entrance goes there if you don't want to drive.
For a day out, the National Trust has a lot of nearby coastal spots like Trerice and Carnewas at Bedruthan. The National Trust Cornwall site has the details. For walking the coast path, the South West Coast Path Association website is useful.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV. There's parking. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
