Riverside Barn
Riverside Barn is a one bedroom barn conversion near Newquay. It sleeps two. The building dates from the 1820s and was part of the Duchy estate. We've tried to keep the character, so there are original stone walls and exposed beams. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The kitchen is quite big and has an island. The floor tiles are red, which is a bit of a feature. There's a step up from the living area into the kitchen, so watch your step. The bathroom has a shower cubicle. There's also a separate utility room with the washing machine.
You get a private, enclosed garden with a patio area. It's a good spot for a coffee or a barbecue. There's one dedicated parking space.
The place is on the edge of the Gannel Estuary. It's a five minute walk to the footpaths there, which are good for a stroll and birdwatching. Crantock beach is about a mile away. It's a nice sandy beach with dunes.
Newquay town centre is a short drive. That's where you'll find most of the shops, restaurants, and Fistral Beach for surfing. The local pub is within walking distance.
Facilities include a TV with Netflix and Sky Sports, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring up to two dogs.
