The Rose
The Rose is one of five cottages here at Jockhedge Farm in Burgh le Marsh. It's set back from the road in about 25 acres of fields and paddocks. Quiet spot.
It's a 5 Star cottage, which means it's recently done up, modern and clean. Sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own shower room, which is handy. One is downstairs.
There's a wood burner in the living area. We provide the first basket of logs. The garden is private and fully enclosed, so it's safe for dogs and kids. There's a shared hot tub on site that you can book directly with us for a fee during your stay.
Burgh le Marsh village centre is about a ten minute walk. There are a couple of pubs that do food, a shop, and a chip shop. Skegness is about five miles east for the beach and amusements.
The Lincolnshire Wolds are right on the doorstep for walking and cycling. Goodwood is nearby if you like racing. For a historical day out, Gunby Hall is a National Trust property about twenty minutes away.
Facilities: it's got the things you'd expect. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two well-behaved dogs.
