Willow Lodge

Willow Lodge is a detached house on Willow Lakes, near Burgh le Marsh. It's set back from the road on its own, next to some fishing lakes. The garden and deck area are private.

The lodge sleeps six people. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on one level, so you don't have any stairs to worry about.

The main thing about this place is the view. The main living area and the deck have a full view over the lakes. That's what you pay for. There's a private hot tub on the deck. If you like fishing, you're looking right at the water. I'm told they're stocked with carp, barbel, bream, that sort of thing.

You're about five miles from Skegness. The beach there is good. There's a seal sanctuary down that way too, at Gibraltar Point. It's a proper resort, so it has all the amusements and the usual stuff.

Closer to home, there's a village shop and a couple of pubs in Burgh le Marsh, about two miles away. They do meals.

Further out, if you want a day trip, the Lincolnshire Wolds are nice for a drive or a walk. Horncastle, about a half hour drive, is known for antique shops. Lincoln with the cathedral is about an hour's drive.

In terms of what's here: it's detached. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.

For planning days out, Visit Lincolnshire has good information and Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust covers the nature reserves like Gibraltar Point.
