Oak Cottage
Oak Cottage is my one-bedroom place. It's right behind my own house, but it's completely detached and private. You get the garden to yourself. It looks out over fields at the side, so it's quiet, but you're not far from Skegness.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well kitted out and comfortable. We allow up to two pets.
Skegness is a short drive away for the beach and everything that goes with it. The beach is sandy. There's a seal sanctuary and a funfair. For a quieter day, Gibraltar Point is a good spot for nature. It's a reserve managed by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
There are two golf courses close by, North Shore and Seacroft. If you like walking or cycling, the Wolds are nice. The market towns of Louth and Alford are worth a visit. Horncastle, famous for its antique shops, is about 25 minutes away by car.
For facilities: there's parking right outside, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a patio with a barbecue and it's an enclosed garden.
My other cottages, Hawthorne and Willow, are next door. You can book them together if you're in a bigger group.
