Alpine Lodge is in Burgh le Marsh, Lincolnshire. It's a single-storey lodge attached to our house. It looks out onto the street at the front, but the patio and garden at the back are yours to use. It's quiet here.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's newer, so everything works well and it's easy to keep clean.
There's a shop, a couple of pubs, and a restaurant within a hundred yards or so. The town has a market square. It's a useful, quiet sort of place.
Skegness is four miles away. That's where the main beach is, and the seafront attractions. For a different kind of coastline, Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is good for walks and birdwatching.
If you want to explore further, Gunby Hall (National Trust) is about three miles. Lincoln, which is the proper historic city with the cathedral, is less than thirty minutes by car if you go across the Wolds. There's golf nearby, and National Trust Gunby Estate is close.
Inside, it's all on the ground floor. There's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. The shower has a seat in it. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. Sorry, no pets.
