Haven View
Haven View is a barn conversion on our farm, near the river in Wainfleet St Mary. It’s actually three barns next to each other, and you’d be booking one of them. They’re on three floors, so there are stairs. They’re normal stairs.
It sleeps ten in four bedrooms, with three bathrooms. The rating is 5 Star, so it’s well-equipped and comfortable. It’s furnished in a country style.
You get your own enclosed garden with a patio and a hot tub. There’s off-road parking right outside. The garden looks out over the river bank.
You’re free to walk around the farm. There’s fishing on the river within the grounds, included in your stay. Bring your rod.
There’s a local pub and a bistro about a quarter of a mile away. The town of Wainfleet is a short walk. It’s a small market town with shops, a few places to eat, and a train station.
Skegness is five miles away. It’s a classic seaside town with a sandy beach, amusements, and the Fantasy Island theme park.
For a day out, you can drive to Gunby Hall or Tattershall Castle, both National Trust properties. The Lincolnshire coast and its nature reserves are close by for birdwatching. If you fancy a longer trip, Lincoln is about an hour’s drive. It has the cathedral and castle.
In terms of what’s here, the barn has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. Bedding and towels are included. We accept up to two dogs.
