Haven View
Haven View is in Wainfleet St Mary, Lincolnshire. It's one of three barns on the edge of our farm, right by the River Steeping. You can walk around the farm if you like.
It sleeps ten. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so the fittings are good and it's well looked after. The bathrooms are en-suite, which helps with a group.
It's a three-storey barn. The stairs are fine, just remember it's three floors. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a hot tub. You get a view of the riverbank from the big windows.
The place is set up for families. We've got a cot, highchair, and a stairgate. We take up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking.
The on-site pub and bistro are about a quarter of a mile away. The Bateman's Brewery is just down the road if you want a tour. Wainfleet itself is a small market town with shops and a station.
Skegness is five miles away. That's where the beach is. For a theme park, Fantasy Island is there. If you like fishing, you can fish for free on our stretch of the river.
For days out, Gunby Hall and Tattershall Castle are National Trust places you can drive to. The Lincolnshire Wolds are nice for a drive. Lincoln, with the castle and cathedral, is about 40 miles.
