Barn House is in Friskney Tofts, Lincolnshire. It's a detached barn conversion. It's got a five star rating, so it's quite a smart one.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. One double bedroom is on the ground floor with its own shower room and a small sitting area next to it, so it's a bit quieter.
Inside, it's spacious. There are three separate living areas, so people can spread out. There's a large undercover area outside with a hot tub and seating. You can use that even if it's raining.
Skegness is about nine or ten miles away along the coast road. It's the classic family seaside resort: pier, beaches, amusements, that sort of thing. There's a pub restaurant open Thursday to Sunday about two miles away. For a supermarket, you'd go to Old Leake, which is four miles.
The coast here is good for walking. Gibraltar Point and Frampton Marsh nature reserves are about half an hour's drive. They're great for birdwatching. The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust site has details. There's also the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park practically next door.
Inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds have nice countryside walks. Boston is twelve miles away. It's a proper market town on the river, famous for the Boston Stump church.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, woodburning stove, and a barbecue. There's on-site parking and an enclosed garden. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. Sorry, no pets.
