Moorhen Cottage Leverton Highgate

Moorhen Cottage is in Leverton Highgate, just outside Leverton village itself. It's single storey, so all on the ground floor. Good if stairs are a problem.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It has a 4 Star rating, which it gets because it's modern, clean and everything works.

The cottage is one of a few set around a courtyard. You share the big games room with a full-size snooker table. The grounds are about three acres with a natural lake. It's very quiet.

You get a patio garden area. There's a washing machine, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right outside. The place is wheelchair friendly, with grab rails and level access.

The local pub is about two miles away in the village. There's a shop there too.

For walking or cycling, you can start right from the door. The area is known for birdlife. The Lincolnshire Wolds are close by. They're an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

If you fancy a day out, Skegness is about 15 miles east for the beach. Boston is a short drive for shops. Lincoln, with the cathedral and castle, is about 30 miles west. The National Trust's Gunby Estate is nearby too.
