Lake View Lodges
The place is called Lake View Lodges. It's on the edge of Old Leake in Lincolnshire, near Boston. They are cabins, five of them, built near a fishing lake.
Each one sleeps five. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s well-equipped and comfortable. They are detached, so it’s just you and your own front door. The living space is open plan. There’s a verandah with furniture outside.
You look out over an old fishing lake. If you want to fish it, you need to get your own Environment Agency license beforehand. The site is quiet. There are lots of country lanes around here, good for walks or cycling if you bring bikes.
Old Leake village is about half a mile away. It has a couple of pubs, a supermarket, and a play area for children. Leverton village is a bit further south, and has a café, another shop, and another pub.
For days out, the RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is about five miles away. It’s good for birdwatching. The coast and Skegness are about twenty miles, if you fancy a trip to the seaside. Boston is seven miles away for shopping.
Inside, you’ve got a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is allowed. Parking is right outside your lodge.
