Mallard Cottage
Mallard Cottage is in Leverton Highgate. It's a single-storey cottage, so no stairs at all. The cottage is part of a small group, set around a courtyard. It looks out over three acres of grounds with a lake. It's very quiet.
It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's wheelchair accessible, with grab rails and a level entrance. That's deliberate, not an afterthought.
Everything is on the ground floor. Open plan living area. There's a patio and garden that's yours to use. You can store bikes. Bedding and towels are included, and there's a washing machine. We can provide a cot and highchair.
There's a shared games room on site with a full-size snooker table. It's in a separate building.
The village is known for birdlife and nature reserves. Good walking and cycling from the door. A local pub and shops are about two miles away. Historic Boston is a short drive.
If you fancy a day out, Skegness and its beach are 15 miles east. Lincoln, with the cathedral and castle, is about 30 miles west. The Lincolnshire Wolds, which are an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are close by for drives or walks. For general trip planning, Visit Lincolnshire has good information.
