Mallard Cottage Leverton Highgate

Mallard Cottage is in Leverton Highgate, Lincolnshire. It's a single-storey place, part of a small group set around a courtyard. You've got your own patio and garden.

It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star property, which is good. It's all on one level and is wheelchair accessible, with wide doors and grab rails in the bathroom. The kitchen and living area is open plan.

It's in the middle of farmland, so it's peaceful. The owners have about three acres of grounds with a lake, which you're free to walk around. There's a shared games room with a full-size snooker table in a separate building.

The local shop and pub are in Old Leake, about two miles away. Boston's about a 15 minute drive for bigger supermarkets. The coast at Skegness is roughly 15 miles, if you want a proper beach day.

It's a good spot for birdwatching. There are several nature reserves nearby. For walking, the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is about half an hour's drive inland. Lincoln, with the cathedral and castle, is about 40 minutes by car.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, sorry.
