No. 6 Lake View Lodges is one of five cabins on some land out near Leverton. It's detached, so it's just you and the outside space. The big thing is the view. You open the doors onto a big covered verandah and you're looking right over this fishing lake. It's not a manicured garden, it's just a lake with the fields beyond. It's very quiet.
It sleeps six. Three rooms, two bathrooms, so that's handy. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and everything works. One pet is okay.
Inside, it's all open plan. Washing machine, towels included, WiFi, TV, parking right outside. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The cabin is down a lane, so you get that proper countryside feel. There are loads of flat lanes around here for walking or cycling. You're on the edge of the village of Old Leake. There are a couple of pubs within a mile and a shop. The A52 is about half a mile away for getting around.
The RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is about ten minutes' drive. It's on The Wash, so it's that big, open coastal landscape. You can be on the beach at Skegness in about half an hour if you want the classic seaside stuff, or Boston is about fifteen minutes the other way for shops and the river.
If you're into fishing, you can do it right here on the lake. You do need your own Environment Agency rod license. The fishing isn't managed by us, it's just there.
