Curlew Cottage is in Leverton Highgate, just outside Boston in Lincolnshire. It's a single-storey detached bungalow, so everything's on the ground floor. It's wheelchair accessible, with grab rails in the bathroom.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and there's one bathroom with a shower. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's open plan inside. There's a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
The cottage is set in about three acres of gardens with a lake. You get your own patio area. There's a shared games room with a full-size snooker table in another building on the grounds. It's a very quiet spot.
The area is flat, good for walking and cycling. It's known for birdlife. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in the village.
Boston is about ten minutes by car. You've got the Stump, which is the big church tower, and the market. Skegness is about half an hour's drive for the beach. For a different day out, the Lincolnshire Wolds are within easy reach, about a 30-minute drive. They're an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
For local history: Lincoln is roughly an hour's drive. It's got the cathedral and castle. The Visit Lincolnshire site is useful for planning. So is the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust if you're into nature reserves.
No pets, sorry.
